Azurite has deep green and blue colors with some black with a mystical aura. Azurite gets its name from the Persian word- “Lazhward,” which when translated becomes “Azure Blue” because of its vivid colors of blue. Since copper is critical for the formation of Azurite, this gemstone is typically found near copper ore deposits. Azurite is mostly copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, which is a rare mineral because it isn't widely available and deposits tend to be smaller. Attuned to the Third Eye Chakra, Azurite can help clear the mind, lessen worry, enhance creativity, and provide inspiration.
