Prestigious and sumptuous solid 925 silver ring, France, 1950s.

Of great charm and vintage style, completely handmade, it comes from a private collection.

The ring is embellished with six stunning garnet gemstones, natural, untreated gemstones. In the central body, the largest, imposing one, in a faceted oval cut, measures 8x10 millimetres.

The other five, slightly smaller but equally preponderant, drop-shaped, also with a faceted cut, measuring 6x8 millimeters, are arranged vertically along the same axis, precisely four above the central garnet and the other below.

They are all inserted by hand, each in its own setting, held by groups of three prongs, the five drop-shaped ones, and by four prongs, the largest one. The quality of the stones is unconditional.

They have an intense red color with vermillion and flaming flashes: with their countless facets they capture every single ray of light, creating infinite variations in color saturation.

The final result is that from every point they are observed they generate reflections in a thousand tones and shades.

Their purity is equally tangible: garnets are one of the most genuine precious stones, as they are not subjected to any type of treatment, both because they would inevitably be ruined and because the relative abundance of the finds would make artificial tampering counterproductive.

Returning to the ring, equally evident is the skilled, particular and refined craftsmanship: the oval-shaped spool setting is open, completely perforated, trellis-like, truly refined.

The shank is linear and smooth and the 925 fineness of sterling silver is stamped inside. It is therefore a ring of extraordinary elegance and visual impact, proof of a completely artisanal workmanship that gives it charm, style and sumptuousness, embellished with an important, beautiful and imposing load of stones.
