Vintage Cartier Ruby And Diamond 18k Yellow Gold Mimi Dome Ring.

A very rare yellow gold Cartier ring set with a top grade ruby with a deep red colour and excellent oval cabochon cut. Measures 7.3x5.7mm in bezel. Approx. 1.2 Carat. The ruby has very good clarity with only some small natural inclusions visible when looking closely.

This fine quality ruby is accented by 36 natural round brilliant cut diamonds. Graduating in size from 1.6 to 1.8mm. These all have an excellent cut, VS-VVS clarity and D-G colour. Beautifully pavé set.

The piece also has 8 smaller 2.2mm round cabochon rubies which have been perfectly matched for quality and colour to the main stone. The quality and workmanship in this ring is truly evident of the finest Cartier pieces.

The centre ruby is set in a rubover bezel setting while the surrounding diamonds and rubies are beautifully pavé set. Fine Cartier craftsmanship is clearly shown in this piece.
